Chandler Culbreth

Chandler, an English and Sociology major at the College of Charleston, considers herself and explorer: living in England, Indiana, New York City, Ohio, Georgia and now Charleston, South Carolina. She studied Theater in Essex, England and then had the wonderful opportunity to study and act at the world renowned Stella Alder Acting Studio of New York City. Being in the competitive world of acting, she learned the importance of staying true and proud of herself. She was very active in the physical aspect of the theater and because she wanted a stronger connection to her physical, mental and spiritual self she became committed to the practice of yoga. She studied with Stephanie Keach at the Asheville Yoga Center where she received her certificate to teach children’s yoga. Chandler has worked with children since she can remember and loves nothing more than to interact and learn with children. She believes it is very important to promote confidence, health, respect and an overall appreciation for the world we live in; that if our children are healthy and proud, they will grow to be wonderful leaders and teachers. Chandler si a proud mother to a rather curvey Basset Hound, a spunky Papillon, and an adopted cat who loves bird watching. Her family lives in Mt. Pleasant and is her constant inspiration. She is honored to be a part of the Yoga Mama community.
